Children's Workshop: Desert Garden Discoveries
This children's workshop is for ages 7-12.
More than 100 years ago, Henry Huntington discovered that the dry hillside with poor soil on his property could be transformed into a thriving garden of desert plants. With help from some folks from Los Angeles Cactus and Succulent Society young ones can learn more about these unusual plants, look for animal life, and make beautiful art inspired by the blooming garden!
