Small Business Saturday with Duchess of Downtown Tours
Now that Halloween has come and gone it is officially time to get your holiday shopping on!
Naturally there is Black Friday, a shopping event where you can now leave immediately after Thanksgiving dinner (those who are not in a tryptophan induced stupor) to stand in long lines in the freezing weather so you can claw your way to the next "it" item. And there is also Cyber Monday, for those who want to stay in their jammies and have items shipped to their door.
But sandwiched in between the two is Small Business Saturday! This day is meant to celebrate and support small businesses in your neighborhoods!
And lucky for us, Tacoma has a plethora of locally owned retail establishments for your holiday needs.
