Paint and Coatings for Educational Facilities
Paint and Coatings for Educational Facilities
Education facilities K through 12 or those of higher education have varied needs for architectural paints, high-performance coatings, and some very particular problem-solving products. The various type of products will be discussed throughout the program. This course will outline the use of these paints and coatings as they pertain to particular areas within an education facility. Learn the components of paints and coatings, including pigment, binder, solvent, and additives and their function, why it matters, and the effects.
Review the performance level of different paint types, including the environmental benefit gained by the use of higher quality or more durable paints and coatings as they relate to the service life and maintenance concerns for Educational Facilities when specifying paint.
