Road & Tracks II - WPKN 50th Anniversary Gala
On Saturday, December 14th, from 7-11 pm, WPKN Radio, 89.5 FM and www.wpkn.org, will present the second annual Road & Tracks celebration at Dragone Classic Motorcars, 176 Post Rd West in Westport, CT. This Gala celebrates the radio station's 50th anniversary of continuous broadcasting as the "Real Alternative ".

Surrounded by collectible vintage and performance automobiles in the unique environment of the Dragone showroom and garage, the Gala will feature live entertainment by the Edukated Fleas Ukulele Duo, Larry Urbon's Café Musette, and classic jazz with Rick Petrone's Jazz All-Stars, with special guest Giacomo Gates, as well as fine food and beverages and a silent auction.
Proceeds from this event will benefit WPKN radio, and also "KEYS: Kids Empowered by Your Support." (www.keysmusic.org). Dr. Richard Epstein, chair of this event, says "WPKN is proud to help support this organization, whose mission is to bring one-to-one instrument lessons and group music instruction to under-served inner-city children in Bridgeport, CT".
