Heron Pond Restoration and Prep Day
Each month, Gabis Arboretum will host a volunteer day where anyone can come out and help in the gardens, wetlands and woodlands. On May 8th, the volunteer day will focus on removing invasive plants, restoring the woodland area and prepping for our woodland miniature exhibit. Gabis Arboretum relies on our volunteers to support the arboretum's growth and upkeep. This volunteer day is perfect for people who are interested in gardening, tree planting, native plants, invasive removal or just love being outside. Registration is strongly encouraged, but not required.
Please wear close toed shoes and outdoor clothes. Dress for the weather. Masks and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
