Yellow Fish Festival VI: To Stay Alive /| You Must Be Live
To Stay Alive /| You Must Be Live
The 6th Yellow Fish Festival has taken shape as a long form, durational engagement with a cohort of nine artists. This is Phase 3 of our nine month festival, providing the artists the opportunity to continue processing their work in live form. Throughout the month of May, the artists will present installations, live performances, digital livestreams, films, and more. This phase is hosted by 153 COFFEY, a multidisciplinary, artist-led studio located in Red Hook, New York.
The nine artists will use time as concept and material in actions and ideas emphasizing and expanding upon Care Methodologies in respect of the times and in response to our festival theme: To Stay Alive /| You Must be Live. You can read more and visit the archive of Phase 1 and 2 at our website: yffestival.com
Audiences are invited to attend specific performances or visit the installations during open gallery hours. To receive the most up to date schedule and performance updates, follow us on instagram @yellowfishfestival, and watch our website (yffestival.com). And if you are unable to attend in person, we will present a digital version of the festival's events later this summer. Stay tuned!
All audiences will be required to respect Covid-19 health and safety protocols when entering the space (see below for details).
