Writing About Family: A Look at the Memoir with Kao Kalia Yang
Everwood Farmstead Foundation is proud to present the Artist Workshop "Writing About Family: A Look at the Memoir" with Kao Kalia Yang on Saturday, September 25th from 10 am - 3:00 pm!

Join an in-depth conversation with award-winning memoirist Kao Kalia Yang to study how and why we write about our families. The workshop will consist of five parts: a tuning of our instruments (writing prompt), an overview of Yang's approach to writing about family (personal reflection), a writing assignment, then a workshopping/reading session (based on the assignment), followed by a question/answer segment. Please come prepared to engage your own work and that of others. Class size is limited to 10 participants.
