Glass Fusion Heart Suncatchers- Mother's Day Edition

What a way to show how much you love Mom by creating a fused glass heart on Mothers Day? This workshop is taught by in-house artist Donna Smit, who will guide you in cutting techniques using scraps of glass to create a beautiful heart suncatcher.

The hearts measure approximately 7 x 9. Each student will receive a short lecture and learn by using nippers to lay out a layer of clear glass on kiln paper. The second layer, students will nip and use pieces of colored glass, ranging in all the colors of the rainbow. Finally, students will use copper wire to create hooks that are all fused together. Once fired, students will take home and string wire and beads to create these stunning mosaic style healing hearts. All supplies are included. This is a perfect workshop for beginners and fun for experienced students. Class size is limited to 6 students.

Please note our Cancellation Policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. No refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we will offer a full refund.

COVID-19 Safety protocol: For the safety of teachers as well as students, we will be requiring anyone in the studio taking classes or shopping, to wear masks and keep their hands clean. Students can go outside to take breaks and get fresh air during class, but must be masked at all times inside the studio. If you anticipate this being too cumbersome please wait to register for a class at a later date when these restrictions are lifted. Classes will be limited to six students as we ease into reopening. Studio and common tools will be sanitized after each workshop.
