In this covid-safe, 15min interactive performance, the audience helps teach a curious alien all about what it means to be an Earth Human. The audience gets to lead the conversation, choosing from a variety of Human Subjects like Facial Expressions Lessons, Nice Memories, and Life Advice.
This performance can be done for an audience-of-one, or a small pod of people. Max 6 people at once. Family-friendly. Only one ticket available per performance slot, so that the single audience person or small pod does not overlap with another group.
The actor stays inside a storefront window at all times, the audience remains outside, calling the actor on their cellphone (make sure your phone is charged!) Chairs for the audience are provided. The performance location is on Penn Ave, in the Bloomfield/Garfield neighborhood. The specific address will be revealed when a ticket is booked. Wheelchair accessible.
As the audience will be in a public space, audiences are required to wear masks at all times. The performance will not occur if any audience member is unmasked.
Tickets are FREE! Donations are always welcome to help support the artists and future productions! Donate at: https://fundraising.fracturedatlas.org/big-storm-performance-collaborative
*Day-of ticket reservations end at 4:30pm
