ILLIE is a 4 member live hip hop band composed of bass, keys, drums & one rapper. They have developed a unique style of music by taking major elements of everyday hip-hop/rap music and manipulating the norm. Adding melodic phrases combined with the synergism of piano chords, and smooth baselines that span over genres from alternative to electronic.
ILLIE now produce, record, and mix, their own tracks. They have a steady growing fanbase of 1000+ and continue to perform heavy in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas at notable venues like The Grove of Anaheim, The Roxy, Whiskey a-go-go, The Key Club, etc. Also shared the stage with Tyler The Creator, Casey Veggies, Pac Div, Gilbere Forte, Alexander Spit, Cool Kids, Swim Team, and the legendary Wu Tang Clan.
