Wild Honey Presents:The Beatles' Revolver & Abbey Road to Benefit the Autism Think Tank and the Children's Music Fund.
The Wild Honey Orchestra and guest singers will perform The Beatles' Revolver and Abbey Road albums in their entirety with full instrumentation on Saturday, March 1st, 2014, 8pm at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles.
Following up on Wild Honey's sold-out February 16, 2013 Beatles's Rubber Soul & Sgt. Pepper's charity event at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, our ensemble of LA's finest pop music performers take on the the landmark Beatles albums Revolver and Abbey Road, bringing them the same fresh energy and inspiration of last year's amazing effort.
Singer Lineup, so far- The Bangles, Matthew Sweet, Jody Stephens (Big Star), Al Stewart, The Three O'Clock, the Muffs, Laurence Juber, Chris Stamey (dB's), Colin Hay (Men at Work), Louise Goffin, Ric Menck(Velvet Crush), Ron Dante (Archies-Sugar, Sugar), Keith Allison,Tim Piper & Cosmo Topper( Just Imagine), Christine Collister, John Wicks (The Records), Tommy Keene, Steve Barton/Dave Scheff(Translator), Mike Viola, John Easdale Dramarama), Steve Stanley, Andrew Sandoval, Bill Berry, Kristian Hoffman, Morty Coyle, David Goodstein, and many more!!!
The proceeds will go to the Autism Think Tank and the Children's Music Fund.
The Autism Think Tank NJ is a 501(c)(3) (Non-profit) organization whose mission is to facilitate the medical and psychosocial stabilization of the child and family. Bringing together a team of world renowned medical experts via telemedicine, this innovative outpatient medical center is designed to provide a multidisciplinary team approach to the identification and treatment of the complicated medical comorbidities of autism. The Autism Medical Center is committed to improving the lives of children and families in the home, school and community through comprehensive case management, community outreach, research and education.
The Children's Music (CMF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based out of Southern California whose mission is to provide music therapy and musical instruments to children, adolescents, and young adults with chronic or life altering illnesses, and to support research on the effects of music therapy.
