Urban public spaces, in the way of plazas and squares, play an essential role in the social, psychological, economic, and civic health of urban communities. These spaces also contribute to the cultural interest and vibrancy to a city. This presentation also introduces universal principles to ensure successful urban plazas, and a methodology to evaluate or create them.
Chris will share several of his favorite projects and discuss the design and implementation process behind his and other designers work.
