Missoula Habitat Stewards Training
The National Wildlife Federation is offering a specialized, 4-part virtual training to teach you how to create and restore wildlife habitat in backyards, schoolyards, and other private and public areas. You will virtually meet and learn from local conservation professionals and other similarly interested folks while participating in this interactive, fun, and highly informative workshop series. Participants will join a coalition of Habitat Stewards across the country to help restore and conserve wildlife habitat in their own communities.
Workshop dates are: Tuesday, May 4, 2021: 6-7:30 pm MST Thursday, May 6, 2021: 6-7:30 pm MST
Tuesday, May 11, 2021: 6-7:30 pm MST Thursday, May 13, 2021: 6-7:30 pm MST
Workshops will take place over Zoom with optional restoration days Saturday, May 8, and May 15.
Participants are requested to attend each workshop date above to complete their Habitat Stewards Training and are expected to commit to 15 hours of volunteer restoration within a year.
