Nova Kim and Les Hook - Vermont Wild Food Buffet Supper & Discussion
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Jimmy's No. 43 Back Room with Nova Kim and Les Hook, of Wild Gourmet Food & Wild Food Gathers Guild. They were recently invited Field Trip Leaders and Presenters at the IWEMM-7 Guatemala, an International Forum on Edible Mushrooms and are among the original participants at the New Amsterdam Market.
Topics will be drawn from their successful presentation which includes the similarities of the wild foods and mushrooms of Vermont and Guatemala. Wild foods, everywhere, are facing increasing threats, not the least of which, is Commercialization.
If you care about your food source, both wild and domestic, you will find this a must attend event!
At 7:30 p.m., the attention shifts to Jimmy's No. 43 Main Dining Area for an excellent Vermont Wild Food Buffet Supper. Drinks will be purchased separately and the tip will be due at end of night by each customer directly to server.
