A FANCY NIGHT FOR DELIGHTFUL PEOPLE
With live music by the soulful duo SHORT STACK, improv by YELLOW BELLY, sketch comedy by CULTURAL HOUR, Adam Higgins' solo show LITERALLY DYING OF AIDS, and a POTLUCK of Chicago wildest and most unique performers; A Fancy Night for Delightful People has something for everyone. Opening is the powerhouse improv team YELLOW BELLY who uses a top story from an audience member's hometown newspaper, then improvises a 100% accurate facsimile of their home and latest happening in the local news cycle. Take a break from the big city life at CIC Theater.
THE CULTURAL HOUR is a sketch comedy partnership that wants to bring the profanity to culture and culture to profanity. In short, they tell stories.
Adam Higgins solo show LITERALLY DYING OF AIDS mixes his years of stand-up and years with improv into a decidedly goofy and audience interactive show. It will deal with all the important topics: divorce, samurai, and animal sounds (oh and there's some weird stuff too.)
And finally, the POTLUCK variety performers feature: music, alternative comedy, clowns, and dog acts . You never know who will show up for A Fancy Night for Delightful People.
