The goal of this panel discussion is to learn about the management of architectural practice, including an understanding of different types of business models, contracts, and project deliveries. The panel will help the attendees understand the logistics of setting up an architectural practice while examining the impacts of contract negotiations, resource management, laws, regulations, insurance, and risks.

Learning objectives:

-Attendees will analyze various ways to structure an organization and risks associated with it.

-Attendees will learn how to select and apply business strategies for a business situation.

-Attendees will learn to identify practice policies and methodologies for risk, legal exposures, and resolutions.

-Assess resources within the practice such as staffing, software, accounting, training, etc.
