Pop-up Dinner with Chef and Food Writer, Dana Klitzberg
Please join us this week for an exclusive, multi-course, wine-paired pop-up dinner, "Argentina and its Italian Roots," in Little Italy, with Chef Dana Klitzberg on THURSDAY, November 7, 2013. We'll start with bespoke cocktails and nibbles at 7:30pm, and sit for dinner at 8:15.  We are bringing together the perfect complement of wines and foods of both regions to create a very special dining experience.

Chef Dana Klitzberg is an authority on international cuisine, entertaining, and culinary culture. Dana is the Chef and principal of Blu Aubergine, a culinary company she founded in Rome, Italy, through which she offers private chef and catering services, as well as restaurant consulting, cooking classes, and culinary tours, in both the U.S. and overseas. Ms. Klitzberg started cooking professionally at renowned restaurant San Domenico NY, then moved to Rome, where she spent 8 years cooking her way around restaurant kitchens, becoming executive chef of two restaurants in the Eternal City -- possibly the only female American chef to head a kitchen in Italy. Simultaneously, she catered for Rome's artistic and film communities, various embassies, and government organizations, all while honing her craft through travel around the Italian peninsula and the world. She has also been the restaurant editor and chief reviewer for the Time Out Rome and Fodor's Italy and Rome City Guides since 2002.

Feel free to pick the Chef's brain about all things food, travel, and Italian...as you enjoy a five-course meal with vino pairings from Hand of God Wines. The founder, Jon Staenberg, is flying in to attend this event to introduce his wine, personally.  This is the first time this award-winning wine is being offered in New York!

Jon's winemaker, Santiago Achaval (also of Achaval-Ferrer), dubbed "The Master of Malbec," by Wine Spectator boasts the highest-rated wines from Argentina (two 99's and three 98's), as awarded by Wine Spectator, and the highest rated Argentine wine to date by Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate.

We have a limited number of tickets available for this exclusive, global collaboration...this is an intimate affair with a great mix of fun, interesting guests, so buy your tickets now before they're gone!  Here is the link to buy tickets:  Click Here to Purchase Tickets
