What legal services can DRM provide in the future to help you better access your community and the services it offers?
Can you: Register to vote and get to the polls? Use the sidewalks? Use the transit system? Access entrances and buildings? Park safely? Use the phone or internet to reach agencies that provide services? Find an accessible place to live? Use ASL or language interpreters? Get materials in Braille or other languages? Bring service animals when needed?
There are many ways our communities can be inaccessible. We want to hear how they can be improved.
This is the first in a series of listening sessions that will help guide the work DRM does in the future. We will host separate sessions regarding healthcare, education, and mental health services. Dates to be announced.
Participation is limited to 40 people per session. Additional sessions may be added as needed.
