African American media representatives publishers, reporters, editors, hosts and producers are invited to join King County and other local government staff for an interactive online video forum on February 24, 2021.
The conversation is intended to improve connections and develop relationships between African American media, King County and other local government staff and communications teams. City, county and state officials are invited to join, along with environmental nonprofit organizations.
This important, interactive conversation will focus on the history and role of African American media in Western Washington; build an understanding of issues affecting African American community and media, and discuss how local agencies can more effectively work with community media.
