Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts presents "The Carpenter's Son"
This December, Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts will come together to present the second annual run of The Carpenter's Son, a full length story ballet that paints a vivid picture of the Christmas story through dance. With original choreography by Ballet 5:8 Artistic Director Julianna Slager, lead roles carried by members of the School's Ensemble student performing companies, stunning handmade costumes and sets, classical and contemporary Christian music, and a cast of over 100 area students, 'The Carpenter's Son' is a Christmas tradition that you won't want to miss.
Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts is the education arm of Ballet 5:8, a nonprofit 501-c-3 arts organization dedicated to engaging audiences in discussions of life and faith. The School of the Arts includes a year-round Pre-Professional ballet training program for serious students of classical ballet, as well a Children's Division program with a comprehensive children's dance syllabus for budding ballerinas ages three years and up.
