Hope Canyon
When Covid-19 closed Shakespeare Royal Oak down last summer, founder Ed Nahhat decided to finish writing the play hed been drafting for a decade, "Hope Canyon"
"Hope Canyon" is the uplifting story of a struggling local theatre company andits artists as they present their final tragedy, 'Hope Canyon,' so poorly that it turns out to be a smash comedy. Eds now arranged with Actors Equity Association and some of Water Works Theatre Companys veteran actors to present a FREE on-line reading and live talk-back February 27 at 7 p.m.
Its time to hear "Hope Canyon" come to life through this talented cast, Nahhat said. With feedback from the live free audience, we hope to refine the work toward a full staged production.
NOW you can watch an encore presentation of the recorded live reading through Sunday, March 7. Simply register here and we will email you a private link to enjoy the presentation. The virtual reading is free, but donations to our non-profit 501 (c)(3) are always appreciated.
