Cindy Woolf and Mark Bilyeu
Hailing from Batesville, Arkansas, Cindy Woolf has been a resident of the Missouri Ozarks since 1998, where she has become well-known for a singular singing voice and her enchanting performances of her original songs. Mark Bilyeu served as de facto front man for the Ozarks family band Big Smith with his five cousins. Big Smith has released 5 albums: two studio recordings of original material, two live CDs (one in a church, the other in a bar) and a celebrated double CD for kids. Big Smith has toured extensively, exposing many thousands to Bilyeu's guitar playing, singing and songwriting. As a dual tour de force Cindy and Mark thrill and amaze audiences across the country with their fine musicianship and solid grasp on both the traditions of the Ozarks and the themes used in their own songs.
