Feed Your Hungry Souls with Music!

The 4th Annual Media Food Bank Benefit Concert is November 16th! Please join us in the UUCDC Sanctuary venue for an evening of music and fellowship. Concert music will cover many genres - retro vocals, folk, singer-songwriter, jazz rock, 60's classic rock & more, featuring all local musicians.

Hunger is a real challenge in Delaware County and the Media Food Bank, housed at the Methodist Church on State Street supports individuals and families who need extra support and provides grocery gift certificates to them for the holidays. Our church has a dedicated history of supporting the food bank. We collet food donations on Sundays (at the bottom of the starts near the elevator) and volunteers ferry the donations to the food bank every Sunday afternoon. In the summertime, our volunteer gardeners grow fresh produce in a small garden up on the hill near the playground and deliver it's bounty upon harvest.
Four years ago a group of church musicians started the tradition of hosting a Benefit Concert for the food bank in hopes to raise some funds to support them through the holidays. Every year the food bank gives out holiday grocery certificates to close to hundreds of local Delaware County families. The number grows every year.
This all happens with the help of many volunteers local community musicians, church members and community friends who come to enjoy the show and make generous donations. We need everyones support to make this happen!

The suggested donation is $10+ Children free. BIG DONATION CHECKS are most welcome.
All proceeds will be donated directly to the Media Food Bank.
Cabaret Style seating. BYOB & Bring a Snack to Share. Come early for the good seats!
Doors open at 7:00 pm. Music starts shortly after.
