For the first time in its 19 year history, Highways Performance Space in collaboration with Earthwalk Dance Company and Santa Monica Contemporary Ballet will present The Nutcracker Suite Electronique Wednesday, December 17th at 8:00pm. Highways Performance Space is located at 1651 18th Street in Santa Monica, CA 90404, block North of Olympic Blvd. Tickets discounted rate $15.

Acclaimed choreographers James Keene, Artistic Director of Earthwalk Dance Company and Honey Almazar, Co-Director of Santa Monica Contemporary Ballet have joined forces to bring L.A. audiences a very different spin on this must see holiday classic. James Keene has taken the traditional story and placed it in a Nightclub entitled Nutcracker. The opening night of the club features all your favorite characters with spirited dancing and drama, telling the traditional story in a non-traditional way. The Nutcracker Suite Electronique, is beautifully arranged by Seattle composer Brete and is sure to please.
