A Real Elephant, by Yulya Dukhovny
Nadia, a little girl, loses her passion for life. Until one day, following a dream she has dreamed, she makes a wish. She would like a real elephant to visit her. Will her father take this challenge and make it happen? Will she get well?
In this theatrical interpretation of the beloved children's novel by A.Kuprin a magical paper set comes alive as it emerges from a tiny stage in a vintage suitcase. As the story slowly unfolds, the children will gasp at the reveal of the larger-than-life leading character!
A Real Elephant has been presented at International Festivals of Paper Toy Theater in Germany and France, Garage Center of Contemporary Arts in Moscow, "92 street Y" in New York and at the Detroit Institute of Arts Museum.
Appropriate for children 4+ and good for the entire family!
