A VERY MERRY UNAUTHORIZED CHILDREN'S SCIENTOLOGY PAGEANT
"Just don't ask questions, and everything is clear." So goes the chorus in this disarmingly poignant satire from the minds behind The Wilbury Group's 2012 hit musical BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, the New York experimental group Les Freres Corbusier.
Winner of the 2004 Obie Award for Best Musical, this musical telling of the life and times of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard has been a hit for discerning theatre audiences off-Broadway and in cities across the country including Los Angeles, Chicago, and Philadelphia, and has been called "equal parts adorable and creepy, hilarious and unsettling, making it way more compelling than your average holiday entertainment." (Variety).
The Wilbury Theatre Group presents A VERY MERRY UNAUTHORIZED CHILDREN'S SCIENTOLOGY PAGEANT, directed by David Tessier with Music by Kerry Callery. December 5-21, 2013 at The Wilbury Theatre Group, 393 Broad Street Providence RI.
