A PRIMER ON PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT PRESENTED BY STEVE WAGEMAN
Organizations of all types - large and small, public and private - have shown an increasing level of interest in project risk management over the last decade. Fueled by better software tools and steadily increasing levels of operational complexity and competitiveness, project risk management has become a staple of responsible and proactive project management. Are you well-versed in the lingo and processes of project risk management? If not, you are cordially invited to attend the AACE Seattle Section's first meeting of 2014 to learn more about this pivotal practice. Steve Wageman will define and compare the various types of risk management, highlight why project risk management is so vital to project success, outline the components and process steps of project risk management, and briefly illustrate the various tools and techniques for managing project risks. You will walk away from this presentation with a stronger appreciation for and understanding of the holistic process of project risk management.
