Taking influence from Lauryn Hill, Billie Holiday,and Eyrkah Badu. Mickey Taelor has developed a sound all her own. Immersed in the reggae & hip hop culture, Miss Taelor joined Roots Collective in 2007 and began playing shows all throughout Southern California and the Bay Area.At 25 years old, 6 music projects under her belt, and one on the way, Mickey Taelor knew music was her life and role for her.
