The American Dream
The status quo is effectively turned on its head in a condemnation of complacency and everything the Joneses have come to represent. A peek behind the curtain of the perfect family reveals a nightmare beyond anything that suburbia could conjure up with Mommy emasculating Daddy and Grandma cleverly pulling the strings. After learning that the couple had a son whom they mutilated and eventually murdered as punishment for his actions, a young man arrives. We discover that he is their son, the twin of the dead man, who, having felt the pain of such punishments is now left an empty shell of a man. The man confronts his parents, who are made to atone for their actions, and Grandma escapes unscathed.
