Red/Yellow Tool Training
In this training class we will go through the safety aspects of operating all of the heavy machine tools in the TVCoG shop area. Students will learn safe ways to use the equipment and receive operational certification to use these tools. The class will be a combination of lecture, video training, and hands on skills demonstration. Each student will be required to demonstrate their ability to operate the equipment safely, and to identify and correct unsafe practices and situations. Please note, this is a safety class only. We will discuss some aspects of proficiency as time permits, however, other classes will cover proficiency on the machines.
