Lungs by Duncan MacMillan
Mitch and Murray Productions Presents the Vancouver Premiere of Lungs, by Duncan MacMillan.
"Lungs is smart and often very funny. Under David Mackay's direction, the acting is top-notch. Both actors are fearlessly, relentlessly present." (The Georgia Straight)
In a time of global anxiety, terrorism, erratic weather and political unrest, a young couple want a child but are running out of time. If they over think it, they'll never do it. But if they rush, it could be a disaster. They want to have a child for the right reasons. Except, what exactly are the right reasons? And what will be the first to destruct the planet or the relationship?
Lungs is part of Mitch and Murray Productions "B stage show" initiative, which is mandated to produce theatre for younger audiences, showing the challenges of the "Millennial" generation and grooming a young theatre-going audience in Vancouver.
Directed by David Mackay, featuring Stephanie Izsak and Kayvon Kelly.
Lungs runs December 3rd - 14th at Havana Theatre, 1212 Commercial Drive, Vancouver. 8pm curtain.
