Roxann Burroughs, Katie's daughter, witnessed the beginning of The Work. She is a Certified Facilitator with over 24 years of experience doing The Work.
The Work is a simple yet powerful way to identify and question the thoughts that cause all the suffering in the world.
The wants, needs, and shoulds are your prescription for happiness. The Work is the medicine. Take it as needed.- Byron Katie
Prescription for Happiness is an opportunity for beginners to discover The Work and for others to go deeper and experience the wisdom of the living turnarounds.
Throughout the workshop, Roxann will share her experiences in The Work and support you in finding practical ways to live the insights you find through inquiry in your everyday life. This workshop is open to all levels of experience, whether new or experienced in The Work.
For new and fairly new people to The Work, we suggest that you read Loving What Is by Byron Katie, go to www.thework.com and listen to/watch Katie doing The Work, download the Judge Your Neighbor worksheet from the website and "practice", and/or have a session with someone in The Work. All are welcome regardless of experience and you may find some introduction to The Work useful.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT:
Registration Starts at 5:15 pm. The workshop will begin promptly at 6pm. We'll finish Friday night at 8:00 PM.
The workshop is being held at a private house in Venice Beach over looking the ocean. Address listed after purchasing your ticket.
Lunch will be on your own from 12:30 to 2:00 PM. (Hours may shift slightly)
