Carol's 2008 Holiday Party

Join 350 of my "close personal friends" at this annual charity holiday party at my home.

This year's beneficiary is Houston Black Tie Dinner. Tickets are $25, which includes open bar and a bountiful selection of hot and cold appetizers. It may seem weird to attend a party at the home of someone you don't know, but I sincerely DO hope all of you will attend.

The party is an opportunity to meet new friends, and reconnect with old ones. To make it easier to meet people, each guest selects a glow-in-the-dark bracelet. An index chart explains what each color means:

* You're too late. I'm already taken.
* Well, I can with someone but I'd consider a better offer.
* I'm single but selective - at least until midnight
* I've lowered my standards. If you're breathing, you'll do.
* I am NOT making a statement. I am just accessorizing.
