Brendan Nolan Concert
An extraordinary performer and musician, Brendan is a favorite past headliner from past CelticFest Mississippi events.
Born in the city of Dublin, embraced the guitar during the singer-writer boom of the early to mid-seventies and found his real love in folk and acoustic music. Brendan has been featured as a headlining performer at many of the larger Irish and Celtic music festivals in North America. Brendan's performance is spiced with good humor and innovative musicianship on guitar and bodhran, and as Steve Winick noted in Dirty Linen magazine, "a rich baritone voice." Gary Muir of the Brantford Expositor noted after one of Brendan's shows that "he left his audience in a mellow and satisfied frame of mind". Brendan has played all over North America and has five solo albums to his credit.
