Beginning Etching Press Workshop without Acid
This class is a very basic 3 hour intro class learning to use an etching press. Emphasis on basic press use and print techniques not using acid. We will be learning on a Griffin Series IV etching press. Jeanne Lorenz will be teaching the class. The class is open to the public as well as Compound artists interested in using the in house etching press. 15 student limit.

-Tips and tricks for non toxic printing
-cleaning oil based ink
-PVC engraving and collagraph
-inking relief plates
-polyester litho plates
*participants will be given a free polyester litho plate and a free piece of PVC. Also, ink and paper, aprons, provided.
