Creative Lighting Workshop

We begin discussing the types of light and how to use artificial light to improve our images. We then move to the studio and begin creating interesting light with a single flash on camera, photographing live models. With a few simple light modifiers and a couple of lighting tips, you will see how your on camera flash will produce some wonderful results.

From there we go to off camera flash using several techniques and light modifiers to achieve the lighting effect we desire We explore controlling and shaping light, the use of softboxes, beauty dishes, strip lights, and flash benders. You will learn about hard and soft light working on Black (low Key), and White (High Key) lighting and backgrounds.

This is hands on, So bring your Camera and Flash. Stands, remotes, light modifiers will be provided. 3 studio lighting stations will be available for you to learn the techniques. Male and Female models will be working with us.

Lunch will be provided.
