ABOUT: We love to play for you. You know, simplicity is good. We have had so many names and bands and masks over the years- from Famous Jake and The Runaway Girl to The Blackberry Bushes Stringband, there is something so freeing about calling our project by our own names- Jes and Jakob. It is more vulnerable, and also braver. Its just who we are, and we can share more of that than we could before. We are a loving, messy, healing, passionate couple of artists. Its all a part of it, we grow as artists at the same rate we grow as humans.
