ADA
Family run Mrs. Krumbs Kookies has been sold to baked goods conglomerate Acme Dough Alternatives. Ada, the newly appointed regional manager, is overworked, understaffed, and befuddled as how to brand a local favorite for nation-wide distribution. This Giving Tuesday, join us as we celebrate original and progressive theatre with ADA, created by local legends, Milwaukee Public Theatre. The latest installment of our QuasimondoTHREADS readers series highlighting devised and cutting-edge work, this hilarious and poignant piece explores consumer culture, workplace discrimination, and the importance of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Performed by the Quasimondo ensemble, and featuring a post-show round table with Barbara Leigh and Milwaukee Public Theatre alum, we hope you can join us for this fun and exciting online event. Attendance is free, but limited, so register to secure your spot.
*Once registered on Brown Paper Tickets, attendants will be sent a link to attend the online performance on Zoom.
PERFORMANCE: Tuesday, December 1st at 7:30pm via ZOOM.
With Barbara Leigh, Kirk Thomsen, Jessi Miller, Posy Knight, Andrew Parchman, and Jenni Reinke.
