ASF & FEEF Present Romeo and Juliet
Alabama Shakespeare Festival in partnership with Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation presents the touring production of Romeo and Juliet on Tuesday, October 29 at 7 pm at the Fairhope High School Black Box Theatre. One of Shakespeare's most frequently performed plays, Romeo and Juliet is the tragic story of two young lovers who meet at a ball. They are instantly at odds with their warring families, the Montagues and Capulets. When the star-crossed lovers secretly marry, a series of misunderstandings, duels and death eventually lead to their undoing. This one night only performance is underwritten by Hampton Inn Downtown Fairhope. Proceeds from this showing of Romeo and Juliet help fund performances for more than 1,200 public school children in Baldwin County during the week of October 28 through November 1. Tickets are $15 and available at Page & Palette in downtown Fairhope, brownpapertickets.com or by calling 990-3333. For more information visit feefonline.org or email info@feefonline.org. Seats are limited.
