Mixed Media Holiday Tags

Re-use, recycle and repurpose. Learn a creative way to create your own holiday tags with resident artist Donna Smit at Copper Cat Studio. Donna will guide students and demonstrate using alcohol inks on a metal substrate, beads, crash glass, old holiday pins and buttons and almost anything festive that has been lying unused in a jewelry box. Once your holiday design is created, students will use diamond glaze to cover the tag and seal in the colors and baubles. Each student will create 6 tags, with an option to create more if time is available and each tag will be an additional $5 payable to the instructor. Students will be able to take home tags and allow to dry for 24 hours. Limited to 6 students. All material included.$55

This workshop is appropriate for ages 14+
Please note our Cancellation Policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. No refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we will offer a full refund minus paypal fees or get you signed up for another class.

COVID-19 Safety protocol: For the safety of teachers as well as students, we will be requiring anyone in the studio taking classes or shopping, to wear masks and keep their hands clean. Students can go outside to take breaks and get fresh air during class, but must be masked at all times inside the studio. If you anticipate this being too cumbersome please wait to register for a class at a later date when these restrictions are lifted. Classes will be limited to six students as we ease into reopening. Studio and common tools will be sanitized after each workshop.
