Born out of the lakeshore city of Muskegon, Inside the Mitten is a concert showcase of Michigan-based musical acts. Through a moderated discussion we learn just what makes a musician born of Michigan roots, do what they do. Inside The Mitten was created and is hosted by Watermark Live with concerts held at Watermark 920. Artists are not chosen based on genre, rather they are chosen because they exhibit rare potential.
For our next installment of the ITM series we've chosen to go a bit outside of the normal. We're pairing up Muskegon's favorite eclectic rockers, Chordis Bell, with a bombastic burlesque troupe from Traverse City called the Bayside Bombshells. This show will be strictly 18+ as the night's performances will surely get a little risque'. If you have never taken in a burlesque show, you're in for a real treat. If you have never seen Chordis Bell, you may want to tie your shoes super tight.
Chordis Bell is a very dedicated group of talented musicians who strive to create a unique and original sound. To catagorize their music in one genre would be impossible; they're truely a melting pot of many styles from rock, jazz fusion, country, and experimental - wacky moments of ecstasy.

Inside The MItten was created to dig deep into what makes, sustains, and drives artists in the MItten state. The event is an attempt to find out just what it takes to become a successful musician in our home state, and abroad, through a moderated discussion. The moderator for the evening tastefully interjects questions in between songs making the ITM experience truly unique and informative as well as FUN. Each concert is an intimate setting where concert goers have a great night out celebrating Michigan through music, and Michigan made beer/wine, as they get to know the bands and the stories behind their music. Some of the artists we have featured include The Crane Wives, Paul Hoffman of Greensky Bluegrass, Homeless Poet, 5iveit, Chantron, Funktion, Charlie Slick and Thunda Clap, Four Finger Five, Ultraviolet Hippopotamus, Secretary of Space, Seth Bernard and the Family Business, and Mustard Plug to date.
