Holiday Plank Mixed Media with Donna Smit

We will be utilizing holiday decor to upcycle and embellish your wood plank. Planks will be painted in acrylic paint prior to class to allow drying time. Students will break larger bottle,vases, cups, to create dimensional leaves. There will also be resin molds of crash glass and metallic foil available to use. Crash glass, stained glass, and even plastic can be used to create stunning holiday decor. Resin will be the final process and will cover the entire piece. Size is approximately 5" x 18". Pieces need to be left overnight to dry.

This workshop is appropriate for ages 14+
Please note our Cancellation Policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. No refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we will offer a full refund minus paypal fees or get you signed up for another class.

COVID-19 Safety protocol: For the safety of teachers as well as students, we will be requiring anyone in the studio taking classes or shopping, to wear masks and keep their hands clean. Students can go outside to take breaks and get fresh air during class, but must be masked at all times inside the studio. If you anticipate this being too cumbersome please wait to register for a class at a later date when these restrictions are lifted. Classes will be limited to six students as we ease into reopening. Studio and common tools will be sanitized after each workshop.
