The AIAOC EDI Committee Presents: BELONGING AND BECOMING: Wield your story
Structured as a presentation followed by a fireside chat, this event will focus on how minorities can belong in the profession and be truthful to their identity. Attendees will learn about the importance of bringing your whole self to the table as a minority and making impactful decisions in design through unique experiences.
1.Attendees will learn about gender diversity in architecture
2.Attendees will learn about leadership pathways for immigrant architects
3. Attendees will learn about inclusive communities in architecture
4. Attendees will learn about amplifying voices of women and minorities in architecture to create equitable workplaces
