"72 Hours"
The Hugo Literary Series continues with "72 Hours" featuring all new writing, but this time there's a wrinkle. Three intrepid writers-- Sherman Alexie, Pam Houston and T.M. McNally-- and one songwriter, Devin Sullivan, will check into a hotel 72 hours before tonight. In three days they will write an original piece (or songs) using "ingredients" they will receive when they check in. Then they will bring it to read at Hugo House. We call it "Iron Chef for Writers."
Individual tickets for "72 Hours" include admission to the Saturday programming, a panel curated by Sherman Alexie. Classes with Pam Houston and T.M. McNally are not included with the cost of the ticket; a separate registration and fee are required. To register, call (206) 322-7030.
