Fake Radio & Deborah Wilson from MADTv in our Sing-a-long "Wizard of Oz"!
On Christmas in 1950, The Lux Radio Theatre presented their adaptation of the hit MGM movie "The Wizard of Oz" with Judy Garland reprising her role as Dorothy. The movie was the first to ever use a new technology known as "technicolor" and it wowed audiences all over the world.
For one night, Fake Radio would like to introduce it's own, special brand of technicolor: we call it "sing-a-long"!
Our re-creation of the 1950 hit radio classic will be a sing-a-long, staged with nearly all of the original songs from the movie. We invite you to bring your entire family and to sing right along with us. We'll even provide lyric sheets. Children are encouraged to attend.
Joining us on stage as the wicked witch will be Deborah Wilson who graced the hit TV show "MADTv" for eight years, making her the longest running cast member in that show's history!
