Thrift Monster Paint and Sip

Did you see the art show at Gallery 21Ten this last month? In the Loft Gallery is an amazing show of playful creativity. The Swell Sister's Society created a display of pieces bought from thrift stores and painted creatures and monsters into them. This playful act was well received by the public as the show has almost sold out!

We thought the idea was so fun and creative we wanted to bring it to you! Join us Friday evening October 18 and get into the Halloween Mood. This event WILL NOT be step by step instruction - however we have asked an artist who just participated in the Thrift Monster show at 21Ten to help facilitate. Laurelin Gilmore, an amazing fantasy figure painter, will be giving a little background information on Thrift Monster, showing a few examples, and getting you started. We have all the materials: paints, brushes, palette, feathers, etc. You bring your thrift monster find.

It wouldn't be a Paint and Sip with out a little Vino! We'll take care of everyones first glass of wine and some appetizers. If you would like to bring your own beverage feel free!
