NOTE: use the drop-down menu under "Date" in order to select the 8:30 start time for the $25 ticket price!
This is not, we promise you, your typical benefit.
7:00 p.m. -- The Drinks (premium ticket-holders only)
An intimate gathering of The Welders' most ardent supporters: a private champagne conversation about the future of the platform we're building and its long-term importance for DC. If you want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.
8:30 p.m. -- The Art
A reading of five new short plays by Bob Bartlett, Renee Calarco, Allyson Currin, Caleen Sinnette Jennings, and Gwydion Suilebhan -- all inspired by a prompt solicited from a guest at our launch party!
Featuring Rick Foucheux, Naomi Jacobson, and Dawn Ursula and directed by Eleanor Holdridge, this one-night-only reading will be our first major opportunity to strut our stuff artistically... and, we hope, knock your socks off.
9:30 p.m. -- The Auction
A live auction of five (and ONLY five) unforgettable items to benefit The Welders... featuring the acclaimed and unforgettable Donna Migliaccio as our auctioneer! Plus drinks, of course. And what better way to close out the night than with champagne and beer nuts? Or PBR and caviar?
