Marin Baroque presents Handel / Italian Journey
Marin Baroque Chamber Choir and period instrument Orchestra presents Handel / Italian Journey, a concert of works by Georg Frideric Handel and Arcangelo Corelli, including Handel's Dixit Dominus and others written during his stay as a young man in Italy from 1706-1710 and Corelli's Concerto Grosso, Opus 6, No. 11.
A storyteller will guide you through the concert with vignettes of life in Italy at that time for Handel, his music colleagues, and others.
A reception immediately follows the concert.
