2008 Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema - REBUILD OF EVANGELION 1.0 - YOU ARE (NOT) ALONE
Rebuild of Evangelion opens on an Earth that has been ravaged by the Second Impact, a global disaster which has wiped out half of humanity. Shinji Ikari has been summoned and coerced by his father Gendou Ikari to bond with and pilot an enormous artificial humanoid called an Evangelion, to fight against mysterious creatures only known as Angels. The only thing more mysterious than the savage Angels seems to be Gendous true motives what is the Human Instrumentality Project, and what is the true price of failure if the Angels are not stopped?
