Columbus Distilleries Tour 2013
Beer isn't the only high quality craft beverage being produced in Central Ohio. In fact, Columbus has built an acclaimed spirits scene that has received tremendous national press and a bevy of national and international awards.
On the Distillery Tour, we'll visit two distilleries, Middle West Spirits and Watershed Distillery, learn about what makes each business distinctive, sample products and hear their stories. We'll also visit a renowned local meadery, Brothers Drake, and discover the range of mead styles that can be made with local honey and ingredients.
We'll end the tour with a cocktail made with local spirits by one of Columbus' creative mixologists.
This tour will include samples of artisan vodka, whiskey, gin and mead, and is well suited to anyone who likes to drink local and support independent businesses.
This tour is priced at $65.00. It includes tastings at 4 stops, two distilleries, one meadery and a locavore cocktail bar, a light snack, air-conditioned van transportation between all of the stops, and a guide with plenty of local spirits knowledge. It lasts approximately 3.5 hours. This tour runs year round. Please check the calendar for available dates or contact us to arrange a private tour.
